Bronte Heights is an academic childcare centre located in Burlington, ON. We understand the academic importance of early learning without compromising the nurturing environment that young children need.

Our focus on a unique individualized program provides the growth of each individual child and equips them with outstanding school readiness.

**Teachers Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to**:

- Planning, developing and implementing age appropriate academic activities using the Bronte Heights resources and workbooks provided
- Providing opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play, music and physical fitness
- Documenting and recording all children's daily information through the use of the ProCare app
- Disinfecting and cleaning all toys, materials and classroom resources as required by Halton Public Health, Ministry of Education and Bronte Heights
- Attending and participating in our quarterly teacher meetings, team building events Parent Open Houses

**Teachers Must Have**:

- RECE Diploma Required (Registered & In-Good Standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators)
- Experience in early years education
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate
- Up-to-date Immunizations including Tetanus and 2 step TB
- Up-to-date Voluntary Sector Check
- Ability to fluently read, write and speak English
- Ability to lift, pull and push heavy objects that weigh over 10 pounds

**Perks for Teachers at Bronte Heights**:

- Set shifts (not rotating) - either 7:30 - 4:30 or 8:30 - 5:30
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Two weeks vacation per calendar with an additional paid closure in December
