**OVERVIEW**:
We are looking for a highly organized, detail oriented **Warehouse and Customer Service Associate** to support our growing team and company full time.

We are a small Fireplace & BBQ business, we wear many hats and we expect you to as well. We are looking for someone with warehousing experience, who is excited to grow into a leadership role. We are a small but growing operation with lots of opportunity for growth and development. This position has many opportunities and job responsibilities. Our warehouse associate will be expected to be support in both our locations - Peterborough & Lindsay. This position is for someone who is good at multitasking and being able to switch from one task to another quickly. This position will be mainly back-end warehouse focused, with some front end customer support when needed. Some of the tasks will be (but not limited to):
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinate pickups, track all shipments, and solve problems by contacting shipping companies.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Oversee stock replenishment
- Perform physical inventory count to ensure the actual quantity on hand correspond to the quantity in the system.
- Receives merchandise into the warehouse upon delivery and organize accurately and efficiently
- Record and report discrepancies and/or damages as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping as required; maintain neatness and cleanliness of warehouse area and showroom.
- Exercise independent judgment with some direction from owner
- Picking product as required with high level of accuracy
- Assemble product (Barbeques) as needed
- Deliver products to customers as needed
- Willing to work extended hours to meet deadlines when required
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by owner
- Coordinate product transfers between locations based on inventory levels (Lindsay & Peterborough)
- Occasional customer service front end support / must be comfortable with handling walk in customer enquiries, answering the phone, documenting sales leads, booking sales calls, educating customers on product in a professional and friendly manner.
- Be willing to fill in on install crews as needed

**PREFERRED PREREQUISITES**:

- Warehouse experience: 1-5 year
- Customer service experience: 1-5 year
- Forklift license (required)
- Driver’s license (required)
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis (required)
- Strong initiative and self-motivational skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Dependable hardworking & trustworthy
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- Willingness to take initiative

Criminal background check will be completed.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
