**Medical Transitions Clinic**
Under the general direction of the Implementation Coordinator, Medical Transitions Clinic (MTC), and accountable to
the Director of Acute Medicine, Stroke and Seniors' Program, the MTC clerk assists in the implementation and
administration of the program by performing clerical functions associated with the overall function of the clinic.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Post Secondary diploma/certificate in Secretarial Arts/Office Administration or equivalent experience (1 year
minimum).
- Minimum 2 years recent experience (during past 5 years) in a clinical care setting, preferably in an outpatient
program.
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
Excel, Publisher, Groupwise).
- Experience with Meditech Information Systems, specifically Community Wide Scheduling.
- Experience generating technical reports from multiple data sources.
- Data quality auditing experience.
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and standard abbreviations particularly in the complex medical field.
- Superior interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written, keyboard, telephone).
- Radiates a positive attitude and collaborative approach to interprofessional colleagues.
- Highly motivated & organized individual with the ability to prioritize activities independently.
- Excellent problem solving ability related to technical systems and potential process flow improvements.
Salary Range: $25.528 to 26.178
