**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Provide warm, attentive service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards in a fine dining or casual setting
- Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to uphold health standards
- Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and assisting with basic food preparation when needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and perform cashiering duties including basic math calculations
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to sanitation regulations and restaurant policies
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable for guest seating arrangements and waitlist management
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in a lively nightclub or restaurant atmosphere

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems;
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles or hospitality is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding food preparation processes
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
