**The Vice President, Marketing role**:
The Vice President of Marketing is a creative, innovative, and strategic sales-driven marketing leader, responsible for focusing on all aspects of driving HiMama’s market growth through specific initiatives that align with overall strategic goals. They are responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for HiMama’s products and services through business planning, market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement. In support of HiMama’s outbound product marketing activities, the Vice President will oversee the development of creative messaging and positioning for our products and drive the development of innovative marketing programs that support awareness and demand across the early childhood market and key customer segments.

The Vice President of Marketing will own the customer lifecycle, developing programs, plans, and communication to deepen the company's relationship with customers and create additional sales opportunities. They will be responsible for successfully creating, implementing and optimizing the go-to-market strategy and planning for existing and new products across various marketing platforms. They will partner with the Product Development and Sales Teams to identify and assess target customer needs and help refine product positioning to address them, as well as effectively translate HiMama’s product offerings into creative messaging and innovative marketing tactics that encourage sales to prospects and customers. They will partner with the leadership team on the incorporation of innovative digital strategies that effectively position HiMama in new markets and as an early childhood market leader.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Collaborate with the leadership team and key stakeholders across the organization to define priority marketing strategies and align them with product roadmap, sales initiatives, and the overall growth strategy of the business
- Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to facilitate strategic pricing, product differentiation, promotional plans, and multiple channel and delivery models
- Combine data, technology and behavioral insights to build innovative acquisition programs that drive growth by identifying qualified customers and subsequently engaging and retaining them
- Understand what drives market interest and market dynamics and translate these into actionable strategy and creative marketing tactics
- Drive conversion of prospective consumers to active customers through funnel optimization including creative outreach efforts, segmentation/targeting, and innovative digital tactics and landing pages
- Oversee the development of product positioning, awareness and demand generation materials for multiple products and services that differentiates HiMama in the market; includes development of product launch materials, webinars, web content, white papers, sales training materials, print and digital marketing collateral
- ‪Establish and drive short, mid-, and long-term strategic plans and marketing objectives; ensure strategies are aligned across the major parts of the organization
- Perform detailed market opportunity analysis, including market research, segmentation, key trends and changes, and competitive analysis; educates HiMama sales professionals on key strategies to position our products accordingly; create sales tools and collateral that clearly communicate product benefits and value proposition
- Establish metrics for the measurement of marketing program effectiveness, using data to drive marketing activity and decision-making and provide information that helps to determine the tactics that offer the greatest ROI
- Collaborate with VP of Sales to help develop product business strategies and inform key components of business plans including value model, target audience, pricing strategy, sales strategy and operational plans
- ‪Define the go-to-market strategy, in close collaboration with the Product Management team, and provide descriptions of target segments, define product positioning and key messages, and create supporting content and sales tools
