**About the Role**:
BIOVECTRA Inc. has an immediate opening for a **Maintenance Technician** with strong mechanical skills to support our operations in Windsor, Nova Scotia. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal performance of research lab and production equipment by performing installations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks.

**Shift**:
4 consecutive days on, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

4 consecutive days off

4 consecutive nights on, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

4 consecutive nights off

Repeats on rotational consecutive day/night shifts 4 on and 4 off.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot research and manufacturing process equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and plumbing systems.
- Relocate equipment as needed, including assembly and dismantling procedures.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various research and manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct analytical troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment irregularities.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for equipment and process malfunctions.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings through equipment optimization.
- Conduct corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance in laboratory and production environments.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other facility information systems, BMRAM is a plus.
- Document repair histories and manage spare parts inventory.
- Be willing and able to work shift schedules as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of HS diploma or equivalent.
- Post-secondary education in a mechanical trade program or an engineering technician program.
- 0-2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or commercial manufacturing facility.
- 1+ years’ of experience in a regulated environment; food, aerospace, biologics, or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
- Experience with computer-based maintenance software (BMRAM, Maximo, SAP) is a plus.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
