Partnership with leading manufacturers and distributors of high-performance adhesive products in construction, packaging, printing and automobile industries, it specializes in providing innovative, high-performance and affordable adhesive and relevant products and services. Over the years, Cheng Tech has successfully built its presence in the industry along with its affiliates and partners locally and internationally.

With the increasing demand for the products and services, we are seeking a Vice President, Sales and Marketing, on a full-time basis, with the vision and experience to develop and grow the North American market for the adhesive and related products and services.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Establish, develop, and execute a comprehensive strategy for increasing market penetration and facilitate the sales within the identified distribution and retail channels in Canada and the larger North American market.
- Define and implement specific business strategies including competitive pricing, special promotion, favorable trial terms and conditions to potential customers to increase sales while maximizing profit and growth.
- Lead the sales development process for key customer accounts, both existing and prospective, and supports the sales team and independent reps in the implementation of customer-specific strategies.
- Plan and implement periodic sales and marketing plans for all current and new products to include special pricing strategies, promotions, and merchandising plans to meet revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and international customer accounts, develop new network channels and expand market share across the border.
- Develop strategic vision for key accounts and respond timely to market needs, or as required by new changes in environmental policies or regulations.
- Monitor competitive behavior and recommends actions where necessary to counter competitive strategies.
- Develop and foster a customer-focused culture, where the sales team is motivated to interface on a structured basis with customer influencers and decision-makers in an effort to increase business and exploit new market opportunities.
- Oversee recruitment for sale and customer service positions and develop procedures and policies in effective support of recruitment, training, development and leadership for sales management related jobs.
- Oversee market research and increase the market shares in North America.
- Regularly report to the executives and shareholders on important matters concerning the business, advise and assist with decisions on new R&D strategies to meet varied market needs.

**Key Competencies & Requirements**:

- Completion of college diploma or advanced degree in business administration, finance or other discipline or intensive experience related to the provided services is required.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a sales/marketing leadership position.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a senior leadership role may be advantageous.
- Experience in working/selling/managing industrial products and services like adhesives and sealants will be an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of selling/marketing strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.

**Compensation and Benefits**:
$48.00 - $55.00 per hour depending on qualification and experience.

Company Vacation and Group Benefits available.

**Terms of Employment**:
Full Time, Permanent.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
