Dental Receptionist/floater

We are a supportive, team-oriented dental office looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist who is dedicated, motivated, organized and an enthusiastic team member. We would ideally like a team member who is interested in wearing multiple hats and helping in the clinical areas as well as the front desk. You will play a key role in managing our schedule and ensuring patients receive consistent, timely care while keeping no-shows and cancellations to a minimum. You will be responsible for helping keep the flow of the day and the office schedules full.
Our office is family-oriented and our team is a friendly, caring work family. We take pride in the relationships with our patients and have a work hard, play hard attitude. This role requires a positive teamwork attitude, good communication skills and attention to detail.
**Duties**
- Greet and check-in patients
- Coordinate, schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Keep the daily flow running smoothly
- Handle administrative tasks
- Provide estimates of treatment costs and discuss financial options, including insurance coverage
- Handle billing inquiries and process patient payments
- Collaborate with insurance providers to verify coverage and process claims
- Provide support to our team, assisting in all areas of office where required
**Qualifications**
- Dental experience required
- Tracker experience required
- Dental Assisting accreditation and floating experience are assets
- Treatment and Hygiene coordination experience an asset
- Familiarity with dental office procedures, billing and scheduling
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A professional, friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care
