Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the Accounting Manager will be a key member of the finance team and with the support of the finance group, is responsible for the following core areas of responsibility:

- Oversee and manage accounting team of 18 members, ensuring daily, monthly, and annual tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Recruit and hire accounting staff and conduct performance evaluations.
- Coordinate training for new and existing staff.
- Liaise with external auditors.
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of recent professional full-cycle accounting experience required, preferably in real estate, legal, and/or accounting industries.
- CPA designation or working towards an accounting designation preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager software is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
