**nutbar is a superfood cafe that puts the world’s most nutrient-rich, 100% organic foods in the spotlight. With three existing locations in Toronto, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced store manager to lead our downtown store location**. The role is essential to the seamless operations of the store and to our company as a whole. We are really excited to find the right person who is interested in taking our business to the next level and growing with us.**

We are looking for someone who:

- has previous experience supervising or managing teams in a cafe or restaurant setting and has a fundamental understanding of restaurant or cafe operations
- Is a natural leader and is able to manage, engage and inspire team members
- Is an initiative-take and multitasker, is hyper-organized, positive and hardworking
- Is passionate about healthy, whole, organic foods
- Is a champion of exceptional customer experience and has innate ability to problem solve on the go
- Is able to work varied hours/days and is willing to be on call during all hours of operation.

Roles + Responsibilities:

- Overseeing day-to-day store operations
- Working on the floor and executing daily cafe functions
- Fluency and knowledge of all nutbar menu, operations, policies and procedures
- Managing staff performance and conducting regular check-ins
- Schedule and timesheet management
- Ensuring that the quality and consistency of our food and beverages uphold the highest standards
- Establishing and enforcing superior customer service
- Consistently overseeing the implementation and execution of policies and procedures
- Ensuring excellence in store organization and cleanliness
- Continual overseeing and coaching of staff to encourage their learning and growth
- Work closely with management team to respond to business needs and initiatives
- Manage and troubleshoot potential operational, staffing and equipment related issues
- Focus on driving sales and profitability, remain on budget and minimizing losses and waste
- Analyze daily, weekly and monthly reports and identify areas of opportunity and growth
- Overseeing stock management/ordering and maintaining supplier relationships
- Process invoices and manage electronic payments
- Maintain online ordering platforms
- Respond and address all on site customer inquiries
- Monitor Back of House operations and assist with production where necessary
- Participate in weekly management meetings
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (current Food Handlers Certification required)
- Manage logistics over multiple locations
- Managing catering orders and on site activations

Pay + Perks:

- Base salary 43,000+ depending on experience, eligible for review after 3 months
- Part of daily tip pool
