Seamstress/seamster

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Measure, cut, and sew fabric according to pattern specifications or customer requests
- Alter and repair clothing items with precision and care
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring all work meets company standards
- Operate sewing machines and serger and vacuum irons.
- Collaborate with team members to complete orders within designated timeframes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in inventory management of fabrics, threads, and sewing supplies

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar sewing or tailoring role within Canada.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to garment production is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read patterns, measurements, and technical drawings accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Fluent English written and spoken.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 28 per week
