MacEwan University invites applicants for a casual Laboratory Assistant opportunity with our Faculty of Nursing, specific to the Clinical Simulation Centre (CSC). Reporting to the Associate Dean, you will prepare the lab learning environment and maintain safe lab conditions, while providing ongoing support for efficient lab operations. Shifts will be available during the academic year, with flexible day and evening scheduling.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting with takedown and cleaning of lab equipment;
- Organizing, gathering, and distributing equipment and supplies to support instructional activities;
- Monitoring supplies inventory, initiating order requests, and facilitating scheduled maintenance of equipment; and
- Tracking assets and managing related documents.

**SKILLS**:
You will have:

- Excellent organizational, analytical, assessment and planning skills;
- Communication skills;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in the preparation of health care materials and equipment; and

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum of a high school diploma.
- Experience working in health care and with medical supplies and equipment.
- Experience with inventory control.
- A certificate in a medical-related field is considered an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
