This position will contribute to Client's implementation and integration of the next generation SCADA system.

**Desired Education**:

- Microsoft MCSA/MCSE
**Other Microsoft certifications**:

- Certifications in other technology infrastructure pillars are desirable (Server, Storage, Database, Virtualization, Windows, Linux, etc.)

**Mandatory Experience: (applicants will be interviewed in details on the following)**:

- Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Windows Servers and/or Linux RHEL servers.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Active Director systems.
- Extensive knowledge of client / server operating systems (Linux, UNIX, and Windows), back-end infrastructure services and networking, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), certificates, and their impact on Active Directory.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SCCM.

**Desired Experience: (applicants will be asked general questions on the following)**:

- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role Base Access Control (RBAC).
- Knowledge of system hardening best practices (e.g. CIS Baselines for Microsoft).
- Knowledge of Cryptography concepts such as PKI, HSM and Key Management.
- Knowledge of Anti-virus systems (Bitdefender, Sophos, etc.)
- Knowledge of backup systems (Veeam, Veritas, etc.)
- Knowledge of secure remote access solutions.
- Experience with VMWare ESX server virtualization.
- Experience working with infrastructure management platforms (e.g. Solarwinds, Nagios, Splunk etc.)
- Experience with automation technology (e.g. Python, Ansible, Powershell, etc.)
- Experience implementing adjacent infrastructure technologies (networks, storage, databases, etc.)

**Location**: 100% onsite in Regina (may consider up to 50% offsite.)

**Term**: ASAP to June 30, 2025 (some additional time for maintenance likely to follow)

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $65.00-$85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
