The YMCA of Saskatoon is seeking a community-oriented, team player to join our Member Services Department. This role is a full-time position that will be one of the first points of contact for those entering our facility. If you love working with people and making a difference in the community and to those around you, we want to hear from you

**Duties**:

- Provide sales, tours and invite prospective members to join
- Provide program and membership information
- Strive to stay informed and up to date on all YMCA programs and services being offered
- Develop positive relationships with participants, peers, volunteers, and parents
- Solve member concerns in a customer-oriented manner
- Serve each member, participant, potential member, volunteer, and staff quick, friendly service when they are visiting the YMCA in person or when they call
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with membership and YMCA Policy
- Work effectively with all departments to ensure excellent communication regarding programs and services
- Support and work as part of a team to ensure excellent service to both customers and fellow employees
- Respond to all concerns in a positive and supportive manner
- Maintain a neat, clean, safe, and organized area
- Be responsible for the security of cash and balance receipts and floats
- Maintain daily membership account receivables
- Any other assigned duties to Member services staff and area

**Qualifications**
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 1 year of progressive, results-oriented, customer service, and sales experience
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- Strong Computer and administrative skills
- A clear police record check
- Ability to effectively work with a team
- Conflict management skills
- CPR-C & First Aid an asset

Availability

This is a full-time position - Tuesday-Friday 1:45pm-10:15pm; Saturday 10:45am-7:15pm
