This is a **full-time, permanent**position and is based in BWB’s new office space at 1801 Hollis Street in **Halifax, NS**. **The Opportunity**: In particular, our new Associate Lawyer’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Advising and supporting clients on various corporate legal matters, related to business structuring, incorporations, financings, mergers & acquisitions, and other general corporate matters; - Handling residential and commercial real estate transactions from start to close; - Supporting clients with a variety of probate, and estate planning & administration matters; - Drafting and reviewing various legal documents related to corporate, real estate, and estates & trusts; - Conducting legal research, and staying up to date on all relevant legislation; - Working with other lawyers to develop effective legal strategies to ensure clients’ needs are not only met, but also exceeded with every interaction; and, - Collaborating with other members of the firm to ensure practice management requirements, including but not limited to proper client communication, file management, and time & billing practices, are completed to the firm’s standards**.** If you are a highly motivated and organized lawyer with a commitment to providing top-tier client service experience and practicing in the areas of corporate & commercial transactions, real estate, and/or wills, estates & trusts, we want to hear from you **How to Apply**: We appreciate all those who are interested; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
