**Job Description & Skill Requirement**:
Scope of Work:

- Work closely with global engineering teams to understand product requirements and ensure thorough testing from a business perspective
- Define and develop test plans and document functional and integration test cases to validate software/system requirements
- Execute test cases on software releases during product development
- Identify, characterize and document product issues or product improvement.
- Make recommendations for potential solutions
- Operates under mínimal supervision and is capable of independent action
- Document test results and submit problems/issues into the defect database. Monitor and update defect database as needed including bug report closure
- Install and maintain the hardware, software and network infrastructure to optimize test coverage across different testing environments
- Work closely with different functional groups to resolve issues, understand and escalate customer support issues, and release high quality products to production

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
- Bilingual - French and English
- 5+yrs experience in software integration and validation
- Expertise with Matlab/Simulink, and Datalinks (J1939, Modbus)
- Expertise with Vector Tools Canape/Canalyzer or Modsim/Modscan)
- Experience with OPAL RT test equipmentca
- Ability to contribute to test automation (Python preferred)
- Excellent network skills (Router, firewall, etc)
- Experience working in AGILE environment
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot problems and identify root cause
- Ability to maintain and modify test benches (hardware and software)
- Rigorous in documenting
- Ability to quickly learn complex systems
- Complete understanding of software development life cycle
- Driven by results and dates (commitment)
- Good analytical and reasoning skills
- Strong background in testing of Electronic Systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- embedded: 3 years (required)
- Validation: 5 years (required)
- OPAL RT test: 2 years (required)
