If you can answer "YES" to all the above and are available in the Thornhill area, let's connect and explore the possibility of joining our team. - Passionate about teaching. - Is bright, enthusiastic, motivated, good-natured, positive and inspiring to students - Able to make learning enjoyable, motivate and reinforce a positive outlook on education - Is results driven - believes that all students can understand and achieve success - Is organized, reliable, consistent and confident - Higher grade (Grade 7 to 12) mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, advanced functions, calculus & vectors - Grade 11 and 12 Physics - Sessions are held in the late afternoon, evenings and/or weekends - Tutors work with the same students on a regular basis - Tutors are not required to prepare lesson plans and the teaching curriculum is provided - This is a permanent part-time position **Requirements**: - A minimum of 1 year tutoring experience **This position is only for In-person tutoring not virtual** **Job Type**: Part-time Schedule: - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability COVID-19 considerations: The safety of our tutors and students is of upmost importance to us. We follow all safety precautions. We provide tutors with masks, hand sanitizers and we disinfect all surfaces. Students and parents are also required to wear masks.
