Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team who is registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing excellent patient care.

**Duties**:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
- Check blister packs and dossettes
- Administer vaccines such as the flu shots.
- Knowledgeable of Kroll Paperless System and Pharma Click McKesson for inventory ordering
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering questions and resolving issues
- Help manage the pharmacy workflow to ensure timely prescription processing

**Skills**:

- Must have an OCP License and registered with the college
- Proficiency in patient care and customer service
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- pharmacy: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- OCP lisence (required)
