We are currently recruiting for a full-time **Blender** to join our Formulations team.

Reporting to the Head of Formulations, the Blender follows master manufacturing documentation precisely to complete blending in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Set-up of necessary machinery to perform compounding of solid dose forms.
- Blending - including Milling, Granulating, Gral Mixer, Hobart Mixer, Granulation wet-down and drying.
- Measuring required materials with exacting precision to ensure appropriate ratios of active and inert materials in the blending mixture.
- Cleaning rooms and all associated equipment.
- Analyze operation malfunctions, assist in investigations, and implement corrective solutions.
- Complete all required documentation required for batch records.
- Operate forklifts, pallet lifts, automated barrel lifts, and manual barrel lifts in order to transfer materials efficiently and effectively.
- Complete all associated documentation in batch records.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- High School Diploma
- Excellent fine motor, vision, and mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Knowledge of good machine safety practices.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.
- Proficiency in applicable computer systems.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, to wear personal protective equipment and to cross train in other roles as required.
- Ability to work rotating shifts as required.
- Knowledge of blending practices or experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
