The Best Western Plus Winnipeg West is looking for a Hotel Housekeeping Attendant to join our team

**Must have your own transportation**:

- there are no bus routes to the property.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- The cleaning of guest rooms and public spaces: dusting, making beds, changing bedding, removing garbage from rooms, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies.
- Occasional Laundry duties/assistance.
- Providing our guests with an efficient and comfortable experience.
- Ensuring good communication within the housekeeping department and other departments of the hotel.
- Ensuring maintenance deficiencies are promptly reported and recorded.
- Maintaining our guest confidentiality.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

**Qualifications**:

- English language skills including verbal, reading and written.
- Good personal grooming and professional presentation.
- Ability to provide superior customer service.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and weekends.
- Able to work a physically demanding position that requires frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of greater than 10 kgs and capable of performing repetitive tasks.
- In good physically condition
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision & as a team player.

**Wage**:Based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $13.00 per hour
