Rosslyn, Canada Pete's Backhoe Service Full time

**Primary Role - Truck/Equipment Apprentice**
- Under the supervision of the Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic
- Maintain tri-axle dump trucks and tractor/trailer units to commercial vehicle standards
- Manage maintenance schedule on vehicle and equipment fleet with supporting documentation and records
- Complete work orders for vehicles and equipment
- Ability to work self directed with mínimal oversight/supervision
- Promote and maintain a positive workplace

**Skills/Qualifications**
- Working knowledge of heavy duty equipment
- Diagnose equipment/trucks to determine issues and initiate repairs
- Work positively as a member of a team with other mechanics, apprentices, and operators ensuring equipment and fleet is repaired with mínimal down time
- Good communication skills
- Clean driving record

Pete's Backhoe Service offers a competitive wage. Please note that the salary offered will be based on experience. Hours of operation are a day shift Monday through Friday.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rosslyn, ON P7K 0C8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
