**Mainline Excavator Operators**

**Key Information**:

- ** Must have a minimum of 5 years as a mainline operator or equivalent experience.**:

- ** Must be able to operate and maintain heavy equipment.**:

- ** Hours: Project dependent**:

- ** Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.**:

- ** Hourly rate is dependent on experience.**:

- ** Health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.**
- ** Operate heavy equipment, clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.**:

- ** Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, secure special attachments to equipment.**:

- ** Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment, perform minor repairs to equipment.**:

- ** Execute high volume production.**:

- ** Fine grading and finishing.**:

- ** When required, assist other operators, labourers, and trades.**:

- ** Perform daily safety and maintenance checks for equipment.**

**Experience and Certification Requirements**:

- ** A minimum of 5 years as a mainline operator or equivalent experience is required.**:

- ** CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level 2 are required.**:

- ** You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and work positively within a team to achieve a common goal.**:

- ** A reliable means of transportation is required.**:

- ** Proficient English language skills required.**

**Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.**
