**ABOUT THE POSITION**

The Mobile Maintenance Planner is responsible for scheduling planned and unplanned maintenance of related open-pit and underground mobile mining equipment. Working in a remote camp setting on a rotational basis (3x3) the Mobile Maintenance Planner will develop, implement, and continuously improve mobile maintenance scheduling and drive standard maintenance procedures among site project teams to develop short, medium, and long-term maintenance plans to improve the day-to-day functions of mobile equipment. The Mobile Maintenance Planner will maintain relationships with project teams, OEM suppliers, and contractors as necessary and retain a list of parts on order and available resources to aid in meeting required maintenance goals and standards while complying with and promoting Sabina’s site safety standards and procedures.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting to the Superintendent, Maintenance, duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve mobile maintenance and reliability programs. Develop, complete, and drive standard maintenance procedures;
- Review work orders and make recommendations and/or schedule maintenance as necessary to comply with mobile maintenance requirements of site equipment. Provide input for daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for maintenance activity;
- Manage the mine maintenance program by establishing KPI’s and determining the specific maintenance work required to maximize equipment availability at a minimum cost to limit unplanned maintenance from occurring;
- Develop and improve existing Task List to increase master data quality and streamline the mobile maintenance planning process;
- Visit the Back River Project sites as required to become familiar with the equipment and shop setups;
- Liaise with Project Teams to establish and communicate maintenance plans as per the Maintenance Superintendent or designate. Maintain relationships with OEM suppliers and contractors as necessary;
- Aid in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans in mobile maintenance areas;
- Develop a tracking program for long-term planning, budgeting, parts on order and available resources; and
- Promote Sabina’s safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Five (5) years’ experience working in maintenance planning or related role with preference given to those with experience in open-pit and underground mining environment;
- Red Seal Trades designation in related field preferred;
- Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) or Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation considered an asset; and
- Working experience with mobile maintenance equipment associated with open-pit and underground mining combined with experience in Microsoft Suite and SAP or other ERP software considered an asset.
