We are seeking a skilled Plastic Extrusion Line Operator to join our team. As an Extrusion Line Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products. The individual will have a diverse skillset in setting-up machinery to ensure efficiency and quality measures are attained.

Overall, the Extrusion Line Operator is responsible for both the safe and reliable set-up of machinery to promote the efficient operation of the extrusion equipment while maximizing the production of plastic profiles.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Set-up and run extrusion line(s) for the job required on work order.
- Install, configure, and calibrate machinery according to specifications.
- Work closely with production teams to coordinate machine setups for efficient operations.
- Ensure proper functioning of machines by performing test runs and adjusting settings as needed.
- Complete appropriate product quality inspections.
- Provide adequate inspection reporting to production manager, to minimize waste, through early detection of production and quality issues.
- Maintain desired specifications and quality as outlined in the quality management system.
- Follow work instructions and any manufacturing plans.
- Sign and date production documentation as required.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Package and prepare product for shipping.
- Housekeeping as required.
- Any other relevant functions deemed necessary laid out by production management.
- Other tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**
- *Plastic Extrusion Experience Necessary*
- Needs to be able to interpret drawings and read calipers.
- Qualified in machine set-up experience (required).
- Experience in production manufacturing, with preference given to those with plastic industry knowledge/experience.
- Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and management. Good interpersonal skills and works well in a team environment.
- Shows initiative and is a good communicator.

Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
