Trainee Locksmith

Trident Lock & Security continues to grow and is seeking to expand our team by hiring a trainee locksmith / instore technician. Basic mechanical or locksmith experience is an asset, but no experience is necessary. We are willing to train an applicant who is willing and eager to learn, and get along with the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Generate and maintain master key systems
- Service and Rekey various locks and hardware to customer requirements
- Answer Shop Phones
- Cut keys for residential, commercial, and automotive
- Assist with inventory control and shipping & receiving of customer orders
- Customer service (taking job orders, over counter sales, etc)
- Other responsibilities as required
- All duties needed to help with the operation of the business

**Experience & Requirements**:

- Must have no criminal record and be able to be bondable. [criminal background check manditory]
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Have Grade 12 or equivalent
- Work well independently or with a team and follow directions well
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- An asset to be self-motivated and remain calm when under pressure
- Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and resolving

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
