**WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR**

**REPORTS TO MARKETING MANAGER - CANADA**
- Manages and oversees the day-to-day activities of warehouse personnel and drivers, including training and work assignment.
- Establishes work schedules and procedures and co-ordinates activities with other departments.
- Trains workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
- Oversees the maintenance of delivery vehicles, warehouse, office and external premises, as well as the daily opening and closing of the premises.
- Controls vehicle maintenance records, ISO documents, protective equipment and price book.
- Monitors on-time delivery rates and works towards improving delivery service.
- Manages man-hours worked, overtime, fuel, and freight costs.
- Resolves work-related problems, delivers periodic reviews of warehouse activities to Manager.
- Arranges for maintenance and repair work for warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Ensures that adequate packaging supplies are available to warehouse personnel.
- Creates, develops and implements systems and policies to control: handling, placement, storage of incoming goods; outgoing orders; identification and rotation (FIFO) of inventory; and order picking.

Supervisory responsibilities:

- Supervises warehouse employees, including drivers.
- Is responsible for the overall direction, co-ordination and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include: interviewing, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Hiring decisions are made in conjunction with Marketing Manager.

Work environment
- Some overtime work required.
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised

**Salary**: $24.00 per hour

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Ford Certification (preferred)
