Tool and Die Shop Supervisor

We are an automotive metal stamping manufacturing company located at HWY 27 & FINCH area.
We have a position available for a FULL-TIME TOOL ROOM SUPERVISOR.
MUST BE A TOOL AND DIE MAKER.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to......
*Manage production tooling, including repairs and preventative maintenance.
*Manage all Tool Room production personnel, delegate responsibilities to ensure all work gets completed in a timely manner.
*Manage tool work orders and ensure tooling is ready based on the provided production schedule.
*Review work orders on a daily basis with the Plant Manager.
*Ensure Tool Room personnel work overtime, if needed, to complete emergency repairs for next day production.
*Review spare part requirements for each die after repair/service or after first production run for new tooling.
*Monitor Tool Room supplies and ensure there is adequate stock at all times.
*Ensure all work order paperwork is completed neatly and accurately.
*Participate in Quality Meetings.
*Ensure the tool room is kept clean and organized.
*Ensure all production tooling, upon completion of work, is stored back in it’s designated spot.
*Maintain a safe work environment, follow Health & Safety Regulations, follow WHMIS practice guidelines.
Day Shift only.
$35.00-$38.00/hr based on experience.
Must have minimum 5 years of Tool Room experience.
