**JUNIOR AEROSPACE TECHNICIAN (in training to become AEROSPACE TECHNICIANS)**

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Forming thin gauge metal through rolling, bending, stretching, and shrinking.
- Grinding and buffing of thin gauge metals of.025 to.040 thickness.
- Drilling close tolerance holes in Stainless Steel, Inconel, Titanium, and Aluminum
- Use hand and drill press with correct speeds and pressure on different metals
- Rivet with different fasteners using rivet gun and bucking bar, hand squeeze guns, and floor squeezers in thin gauge metals.025 to.040.
- Other related duties

**Experience**
- Familiar with the use of basic hand tools, such as drills and grinders
- Good manual dexterity
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to learn quickly and retain information
- Good attitude
- Ability to follow all Health and Safety rules and procedure
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods

**Assets**
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Experience in riveting
- Experience in metal forming/shaping
