The SharePoint Specialist will assist and advise on all aspects of the design, architecture, development, deployment, operations, administration, training and support of key SharePoint infrastructure and business solutions.
**Job Duties**:
Designs, develops and updates new and existing SharePoint sites, Power apps (Integrated and Canvas) and Power automate.
Integrates Microsoft Flow/Power Automate into SharePoint.
Develops workflows that enhance the use of SharePoint.
Designs, implements, and supports business process, workflow automations and procedures utilizing SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and other Microsoft 365 technology platforms.
Conducts data conversions/migrations and global standards such as, but not limited to, data retention and data classification tags, records management, management of data loss prevention (DLP) rules and establishes configuration standards relative to meta data (Term Store) for improved use, data searches, and eDiscovery processes.
Performs SharePoint Site Collection Administration to include managing permissions - restrict and revoke access as required.
Ensures uniform navigation throughout sites. Manages search scopes and create project / document dashboards.
Defines and tests access privileges, control structures, and resources, using periodic audits to identify any security violations and vulnerabilities.
Documents all items created and modified using Sturgeon County Knowledge base. These could include:
SharePoint Workflows
Power Automate Workflows
PowerApp Designs
Membership of Security Groups
Adhere to applicable responsibilities and accountabilities as outlined in the Sturgeon County Health and Safety Management System.
**Job Skills**:
Demonstrated ability to understand the rights, permissions, capabilities, and responsibilities of four kinds of SharePoint users: End Users, Power Users, Site Owners, Site Collection Administrators.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Demonstrated strong problem solving, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management, training, presentation, and public speaking.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments.
Ability to research and quickly assimilate relevant new technologies, concepts, architectures, and features is essential
**Job Qualifications**:
Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a relevant discipline is essential. Microsoft SharePoint training and certification would be highly desirable.
A minimum of 3-years’ experience working extensively with SharePoint in the role of a SharePoint developer and administrator is required with the ability to create and configure SharePoint solutions.
Experience in MS Power Platform design, e.g., Power Automate and Power Apps.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analysis and technical architecture roles in complex business environments.
Experience with JSON and XML customization.
