The Packer, under the direction of the Crew Leader, will ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery. This position will ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency. This role will also ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety, and quality standards. The packer will be responsible for stacking and piling crackers into their correct containers and preparing them for palettization using various equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the department. You will add value to the role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

- Ensure bulk crackers & trays are opened and ready for the line (assorted line), place trays on the conveyor at the beginning of the line and place the flavor into its correct slot in the tray, while ensuring the proper number of crackers are placed in the tray. (Adding or removing crackers as needed).
- Pushing slugs into retails, straighten misaligned crackers and ensure no spec product or trays go into boxes (remove crushed crackers, trays not filled completely, poor seals.) and remove completed products from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
- Pack retail boxes into shipper, help wherever needed on the line, duties may include sweeping, collecting garbage, case packing and covering line vacancies during breaks and ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as customer needs.
- Comply with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safety, meet high workmanship and efficiency standards and follow line rotation and perform the necessary task(s) required. Task(s) may vary from line to line.
- Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment at all times and maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at the end of the day.

**Important Details**:This is a full-time permanent role on 3rd shift, which operates from 11:30 pm to 7:30 am Sunday through Thursday.
