**Job Overview**
At Mañana Resort & Marina, our Housekeepers play a vital role in shaping each guest’s experience. Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms to resort standards, including bed-making, dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, and replenishing amenities.
- Clean and sanitize guest washrooms, showers, and laundry areas. Ensure all shared spaces are stocked, tidy, and welcoming.
- Coordinate additional linen services as required. Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels as required. Report any damaged or stained items for replacement.
- Assist with scheduled deep cleaning tasks including windows, drapery, walls, and under furniture, as part of our preventative maintenance plan.
- Take note of guest preferences or special requests and adjust service where appropriate, helping create a warm, thoughtful environment.
- Promptly report and log any personal belongings found in rooms in accordance with resort procedures.
- Maintain awareness of housekeeping inventory and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Communicate room readiness and turnover timing to ensure seamless check-in experiences.
- Adhere to all cleaning protocols and safety standards, using products and equipment as instructed to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with other resort and marina team members during peak periods, events, or as needed to support shared guest service goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a hotel or resort setting
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to perform housekeeping tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods
- Required to work weekends and holidays
- Able and willing to support the team as needed during quieter periods.

Physical Demands of the Job
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing stairs
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs (e.g., laundry bins, supply carts)
- Repetitive tasks such as vacuuming, bed making, and wiping surfaces
- Working with cleaning chemicals and exposure to various scents
- Comfortable working in both guest rooms and common indoor/outdoor areas
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment, especially during peak seasons
