**Residential Support Worker (Orangeville)**

**Cedar Heights Residential Living** is looking for caring, enthusiastic, energetic and professional individuals to work with children and adolescents within our Orangeville residence. Cedar Heights specializes in working with those diagnosed with ASD, FASD & various other brain-based disabilities. Residential Support Workers provide individuals with high levels of support and supervision in all areas of daily living including: education, behaviour management, community involvement, and recreation.
- On
- and off-site training is provided. Also made available to all employees are opportunities to participate in various workshops to further develop skills and knowledge on how to better support our clients.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- The Residential Support Worker provides on-site, client-centered day programming.
- Community integration is also a focus of the program.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Post-secondary degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Child and Youth Worker or other related field.
- Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector
- $1,000,000 Liability Automobile Insurance
- Valid Driver's License
- C.P.I., and/or First Aid/C.P.R. and/or Medication/Pharmacology training an asset.

**Job Types**:

- Part-Time; evening and weekend availability required

**Required education**:

- Post secondary diploma or degree.

**Required experience**:

- Experience is preferred, but not required.

**Required language**:

- English

**Required license or certification**:

- Valid 'G' Drivers' License
