Working in partnership with utilities, governments, Indigenous Nations, and other industry partners we reduce energy poverty, accelerate decarbonization, and improve housing in traditionally underserved communities across Canada and the United States. Kambo delivers three in-house programs: Empower Me, Community Power, and the Home Upgrades Program.

Empower Me delivers multilingual education, support, and coaching services to ensure underrepresented communities have access to energy, climate, and home retrofit programs.

Community Power supports Indigenous Nations to build, renovate, and improve community housing.

Home Upgrades Program provides fully subsidized energy retrofits to improve affordability for households living in energy poverty.

**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Growth & Partnerships will play a critical role in driving revenue and sales, ensuring alignment with Kambo Energy Group’s strategic goals and objectives. This role combines team leadership, business development, and client experience to continue to drive growth for Kambo.

**Core Accountabilities**

**Team Leadership and Development**
- Hire, motivate, coach, and mentor team members to ensure alignment and high performance.
- Build and develop capacity and capability across the Growth & Partnerships team
- Mentor and train future leaders within the organization.

**Business Development and Partnerships**
- Find and develop new client relationships and opportunities
- Win new business by converting new relationships to projects contracts
- Identify, prioritize, and lead RFP responses
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance competitiveness.
- Manage key accounts, driving reoccurring revenue and fostering long-term value creation and satisfaction
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

**Client Experience**
- Set and enforce standards for an exceptional client experience
- Coach and train the team to deliver exceptional standards

**Sales Pipeline Management**
- Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring effective lead generation, qualification, and conversion to meet sales targets.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for growth initiatives.

**Stakeholder Communication and Representation**
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align growth initiatives with organizational goals.
- Represent the company as a thought leader at industry events and conferences.

**Qualifications**
- A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a senior growth, business development, or client-facing leadership role.
- Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies in complex environments.
- Proven track-record of building and developing high performance teams
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships, developing proposals, and winning new business.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- A collaborative team player with a “can-do” attitude and a passion for client success.

**Value Added Skills & Experience**
- Familiarity with energy efficiency, clean energy, climate change, and social justice issues, or a willingness to learn.
