**Responsibilities**

In this role, you will find creative, dynamic and innovative ways to resolve problems while concurrently considering past practices, best practices, and the interests of involved parties. You are a strong coach and use your coaching skills to develop people leadership capabilities. You are known for your strong work ethic, superior communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytic and problem-solving capabilities and your demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple and competing demands. The ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team is critical to success in this position.

**Requirements**:

- You will have completed a degree in human resources or a related field, and have three to five years recent experience as a People & Culture or Human Resources Business Partner/Generalist/Advisor within a unionised environment, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. A CPHR designation and municipal experience is an asset, as is experience working with Microsoft Office, a Human Capital Management System (we use PeopleSoft), an Applicant Tracking System and a Records Management System.

**Compensation**
- We offer an attractive remuneration and benefits package for this exempt position, including a compressed work schedule. The salary range is $108,804.00-$126,840.00 (2024 rates).

- Compressed work schedule.

**Additional Information**
- During the recruitment process, applicants will be requested to provide a current Police Information Check (PIC).
