**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and maintain driver qualification files and vehicle compliance records.
- Monitor Hours of Service (HOS), ELD logs, and ensure CVOR, DOT, and CSA compliance
- Conduct internal audits and safety inspections
- Lead safety meetings and training sessions (WHMIS, Dangerous Goods, etc.).
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective action
- Act a key contact for insurance claims, driver/vehicle records
- Manage IFTA, IRP licensing, and renewals
- Ensure compliance with CTPAT, FMCSA, and other cross-border regulations
- Review, update and enforce organizational policies and procedures
- Manage equipment servicing schedules
- Recruiting, hiring and on-boarding new drivers
- Arrange new-hire & random drug & alcohol tests
- Coordinate ELD training, device set-up, and address all inquiries
- Other duties & responsibilities as needed
**Qualifications & Skills**
- OSSD
- Minimum 2 years of experience in safety and compliance within the trucking or transportation industry
- Ability to work collaboratively with drivers, dispatch, and management
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and U. S. transportation regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual (Asset)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
