We want you to join our team as an **HR Consultant** in **Calgary, AB**

As an HR Consultant, you're an integral part of our Advisory and Business Enablement teams. After you've gained a deep understanding of our business model and our employee culture, you'll have the opportunity to propose and implement new ideas in various HR cycles, ranging from performance management, recognition, retention, leadership development, compensation, and employee listening. You will be helping our leaders better understand, develop, engage, and retain their talented employees.

You're someone who values human connection, and are able to build authentic relationships with those within or outside of your circle. You're confident and eager to suggest bold and innovative initiatives which will benefit everyone in our organization.

**More of what you'll be doing in this role includes**:

- Be an advisor to Business Unit leaders, Develop leaders, and people managers, as well as provide them the support and advice that they need to deliver on their accountabilities and the implementation of HR programs and processes
- Create opportunities to influence the culture and direction of our HR practices, including diversity and employee wellness
- Identify opportunities to embed diversity and inclusion in our processes, programs, and initiatives
- Collaborate with colleagues in Total Rewards, Employee Experience, Inclusion, Diversity, & Equity, and Employee Relations

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in HR or a related field
- Able to build strong, authentic relationships within or outside of your circle
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Curious and innovative
- Confident communicating with all levels of management and bringing your ideas to the table
- Experience in Human Resources
- Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
