Wage: Negotiable depending on experience

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable individual to join our team in the production

of canoe parts and paddles. This role involves supporting the creation of these products

in woodworking, physical stamina for manual tasks, and a passion for high-quality

craftsmanship.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lumber Preparation: Sort raw lumber into blanks, maximizing wood yield and

minimizing defects.
- Cutting and Shaping: Cut, plane, joint, and drill blanks for CNC machine

loading.
- CNC Machine Support: Assist in loading, unloading, and operating the CNC

machine.
- Post-CNC Tasks: Unload the CNC machine, remove tabs, and prepare pieces

for final shaping and sanding.
- Wood Optimization: Help manage wood offcuts and create small parts to

reduce waste and improve material efficiency.
- Physical Labor: The job involves manual handling of heavy hardwood lumber

and repetitive tasks like shoveling and sorting wood.

**Valuable Assets**:

- Comfort with repetitive manual tasks and lifting heavy materials.
- Computer proficiency for basic operations.
- Experience with woodworking tools such as bandsaws, planers, jointers, drill

presses, routers, table saws, radial arm saws, and sanders is a plus, but not

required.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
