**Full Job Description**
We are busy, growing and looking for a highly motivated PT Assistance who is passionate about working within a Registered physiotherapy practitioner and providing an exceptional patient experience to our clients. Our team is highly collaborative and moves fast on transforming care that benefits our patients. You will play a critical role in Planet healthcare Physiotherapy's patient experience and quality strategy while serving our local community.

**Duties include**

*Direct client care under physiotherapist's supervision.

*Following treatment plans provided by physiotherapist like demonstration of exercise, using electrotherapy like ultrasound, Tens etc.

*COVID Sanitizing office area, reception desk, washroom, and therapy rooms
- Coordinating patient care through the clinic: checking in, prepping, escorting to exam rooms, preparing exam or treatment rooms, answering questions, providing post-appointment service, monitoring the waiting room
- Answering inquiries by phone and in person in a helpful, respectful and efficient manner
- Maintaining the patient chart, performing tasks (managing referrals,handling patient call backs) in support of patient care
- Ensuring exam rooms are stocked appropriately and ensures that they are ready for next patient
- Ensuring patient confidentiality
- Assisting practitioner when requested
- Cleaning and sterilizing materials and instruments
- Performing patient prep procedures and documenting findings in the patient record
- Performing all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required
- Providing patient care and outstanding customer service
- submitting employee hours to our payroll processor, following up on unpaid accounts, processing payments for invoices, bank reconciliation, EHC and MVA billings through HCAI and other insurance companies, ordering supplies. Assist therapist as per their and patient’s need
- Experience with EMR or equivalent rehab billing software is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-35 per week

**Salary**: From $30,000.00 per year
