Painter Job Description

**Duties**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Use masking tape and drop cloths to protect surrounding areas from paint splatters
- Repair and touch up painted surfaces as necessary
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with safety precautions and procedures when working with paints and chemicals
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Excellent color vision and ability to distinguish shades accurately
