To support its continued growth and operational excellence, CMC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Unit Operations Manager to lead the operational activities of one of its business units.

Reporting to the VP, Operations, this position requires a hands-on, data-driven approach and a passion for operational excellence.

**As Business Unit Operations Manager,**your key responsibilities include**:

- Ensure alignment between production schedules, order book and sales forecasts in order to meet delivery commitments.
- Carry out end-to-end product delivery, ensuring that products are delivered on time and to specification.
- Drive operational cost reduction
- Act as the day-to-day operational link between the business unit and the wider operations team, ensuring smooth communication and problem-solving.
- Lead efforts to eliminate obstacles to operational performance and corporate objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks to operational performance, while continually seeking opportunities for improvement.

**To join our team, you must**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in operations management, with solid experience in production and supply chain management
- Experience in aerospace or electronics manufacturing
- Proven leadership with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Bilingualism in English and French

- Knowledge of manufacturing in a highly regulated environment with strict quality standards
- Strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach to managing complex tasks
- Proficiency in MRP/MES processes and ERP systems
- Excellent business acumen and good grasp of financial concepts.
