**Overview**

The Delivery Driver works early morning shifts 5 days a week - **Tues/Weds/Fri/Sat/Sun. **Shifts begin at approximately 6am and can run up to 10 hours a day in the summer season and will require travel between Charlottetown, Cavendish and Summerside.

**Duties**
- **Delivery Duties**: Safely and efficiently deliver bakery and café products to customers, ensuring orders are accurate and presented well.
- **Customer Service**: Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
- **Route Management**: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations while maintaining fuel efficiency.
- **Order Verification**: Double-check orders before leaving the bakery to ensure accuracy and quality.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**: Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any issues to management promptly.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in loading and unloading delivery items, ensuring proper storage and handling to maintain product quality.
- **Communication**: Maintain clear communication with the bakery team regarding delivery schedules, customer feedback, and any issues that arise during deliveries.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current Drivers Abstract
- Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- Ability to handle freight safely and efficiently.
- Forklift certification is beneficial but not required; training may be provided.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to arrive to work on time consistently
