Our products include investment banking, mergers & acquisitions, corporate banking, institutional equity sales, trading and research, debt products, derivatives, foreign currencies and commodities. We also cross-sell the full range of wholesale products and services offered by Scotiabank. **Your GWO Experience**: As an Analyst in Global Wholesale Operations, you will ensure specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. As well as ensure that all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. As an operation’s professional, GWO will provide you the opportunity for hands-on learning about the role of Operations in the trade lifecycle, data analysis, and process improvement. We empower our team to ensure Scotiabank remains efficient, effective and innovative. This includes partnering with our businesses to provide strategic guidance, problem solve and answer tough questions. Areas of opportunity include: - Clearing & Settlements - Audit Confirmations - Payments - Middle Office - Operations Control - Lending Services - Operational & Process Improvement - Reconciliations - ISDA Trade Confirmations **Requirements**: - Undergraduate degree - Great opportunity for recent grads - A passion and interest in GWO/ financial market space - Exceptional communication, organized, able to multi-task, work well under pressure. - Experience in VBA, Excel, Power BI, Project experience, ADP, 6 Sigma, Broadridge, ION product, Murex, Xceptor, smart stream products - TLM and gloss is considered an asset - Proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment - Ability to overcome challenges presented by a constantly changing work environment **Application & Selection Process**: Location(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
