**Job Description - Expediting Analyst / Buyer’s Assistant**

**Location**:On-site at 11450 Steeles Ave, Halton Hills, ON.

**Hours of work**:Monday
- Friday from 7am to 3pm
- This program is available to students currently in their final year of studies or new graduates seeking full time opportunities. Students must be graduating no later than August 2025. _

**Job Summary & Career Path**

The Fresh Taste Produce Rotational Leadership Development Program supports future business leaders. In this one-year program, you will rotate working with Leaders across the many functions of our business. You will gain exposure and ownership of projects that will assist in finding a suitable full-time role within the organization.

This program will lead to a range of opportunities within the organization, specifically in the Growing Relations Department. You will experience an acceleration to grow as a leader as you gain knowledge and hands-on experience on our end-to-end operations.

**What Will You Do?**
- Take ownership of projects as assigned by Senior Leadership.
- Assist teams within the Growers Relations Department and work closely with Buyers to understand business operations.
- Build a deep understanding of international logistics and trade and support the importation of various products from around the world.
- Gain exposure to our international team, working with growers, business partners and customers from multiple countries.
- Learn the complexities of the produce industry.
- Work with a highly skilled team of seasoned professionals.
- Work in a highly entrepreneurial and fast paced business.
- Support various operational initiatives to gain insights and business knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Currently in your final year of completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related programs, or recently graduated in 2025.
- Experience within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry would be ideal.
- Has taken ownership of bigger projects within past co-op, internships, or other related professional roles.
- Must be willing to take on complex challenges and roll up sleeves to get the job done.
- Excelled communication, both written and orally, in English a must
- Ability to communicate, both written and/or orally, in another language a plus
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in an every changing and fast paced world of Produce
- “Can do” attitude a must
- Strong presentation would be considered an asset.
- Some travel maybe required

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
