The Cornwall Warehouse and Equipment Worker will primarily be responsible for organizing and maintaining Bourgon Construction’s Cornwall warehouse and yard, including associated tools and equipment. Supporting the Cornwall office, and working with the team in Kingston, you will ensure all tools, equipment and materials are received, maintained, stored and delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Organized, detail-oriented and a strong planner, you will be versatile and enjoy supporting the Bourgon Construction team in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

This part-time position could suit a recent graduate, or someone looking for part-time hours in the latter part of their career with some hands-on construction or warehousing experience as well as the following qualifications:

- Possess a full G driver’s license and clean driving record.

- Possess strong attention to detail.
- Are economical.
- Are comfortable working in a team or alone.
- Enjoy solving problems, getting results.
- Are well-organized and reliable.

Typical Duties
- Accept goods and coordinate shipment of products to site as needed.
- Run inventories and associated tasks for warehouse and yard.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Minor maintenance duties such as walkway snow removal.
- Oversee the maintenance of office facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager the logístical aspects of maintaining the company’s vehicle and equipment fleet and schedule maintenance appointments.
- Travel to site and to vendors to deliver or pick up parcels, equipment and materials (vehicle provided).
- Support Operations Manager in the accurate recording, servicing and maintenance of tool management system and warehouse inventory.

Bourgon Construction is a privately-owned, mid-sized regional construction company offering general contracting, project management and design/build services to clients located across Eastern Ontario. We employ 45 people working out of offices in Cornwall and Kingston. We typically focus on institutional, commercial and multi-residential projects in the $1M to $40M range.
