Position Overview
We are currently seeking part-time+ caregivers available for various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, in the Nanaimo & Central Island area. No certifications are required, as we provide all the necessary training.
As a caregiver, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need your help and support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Help clients maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful interactions.
- Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver the best possible care.

**Requirements**:

- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Flexible availability on weekdays, including early mornings and evenings.
- Ability to commit to visits ranging from 2 to 12 hours on an ongoing weekly basis.
- Genuine passion for helping others and making a positive difference.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector check (required upon hire).
- A personal vehicle with valid auto insurance is an asset but not mandatory.

Training
We provide all caregivers with comprehensive training, regardless of prior experience or certifications. Our program equips you with the skills and knowledge you need to excel, including proper caregiving techniques, client safety, communication, and more. We are dedicated to supporting your professional growth and development.
