**The Opportunity**:
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Build applicant pipeline by researching and contacting community services, schools, and/or employment agencies
- Conduct background checks as appropriate
- Prepare and compile administrative documents required before the scheduled orientation, and forward to training
- Manage applicant tracking system and track various recruitment metrics
- Monitor and maintain the Employee Referral Program
- Work closely with the HR team and hiring managers on constant improvement of the hiring process
- Stay up to date on the latest recruiting tools, resources, and techniques
- Other office duties as required

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- 1-3 years of hands-on experience recruiting within the manufacturing industry including roles, such as machine operators, and skills trades positions.
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or other appropriate field preferred
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using an applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools such as CATS, LinkedIn, and Indeed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet departmental targets
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with time sensitivity
- Problem solving skills and highly organized with strong attention to detail
