**POSITION**

We are currently looking for 2 Part-Time Camera and IT Support Specialists to assist with our events and training as well as support our participants and users.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will encompass:

- Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance - including but not limited to test, maintain, and troubleshoot computer and camera related issues
- Set up video-conferencing equipment
- Create records of repairs and fixes
- Direct unresolved issues to the the IT and Admin Specialist and solve technical problems together
- Record responses to support events for accurate tracking of incident progression
- Monitor equipment usage and livestream that is being broadcasted from the event
- Address computer and administrative questions from customers
- Coordinate with other staff and users to support the daily operation
- Work with directors and managers to determine all aspects of shots
- Provide practical and creative input to scene planning
- Select, assemble and position equipment (cameras, tripods, cables, and etc.)
- Prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements
- Shoot scenes according to requirements
- Capture quality footage from a fixed or moving position
- Resolve technical or practical issues
- Assist other operators by reviewing footages and make suggestions
- Coordinate with other staff and users to produce the best final effect
- Help stakeholders with technical issues, including but not limited to internet connection, Microsoft Office Suite, and etc.
- Address computer and administrative questions from customers
- Any other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Submit a maximum of 3 minutes self introduction video
- Be pursuing a college or university degree
- Be able to plan and manage work under time constraints
- Have videography or photography experience
- Be able to multitask and work independently
- Aptitude for collaborative teamwork
- Be able to carry about heavy equipment (30 lbs)
- Have superior customer service skills and punctuality
- Be highly comfortable in interacting with others, of varying personalities, in person, on the phone and through using remote tools
- Attention to detail
- Be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances - willingness to work irregular hours and travel across GTA needed
- Have extensive experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other video-conference platforms

Desired Skills:

- Marketing or Public Relations experience and knowledge is an asset
- Have cadets and military experience is an asset

**WORK HOURS**:
November to December, with possibility to extend.

While members are contacted for various projects, be prepared to work about 10 to 20 hours per week on:

- Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
