3D Scanning Technician and Digital Modeler

Industrial Pixel VFX provides on-set 3D data capture services delivering digital doubles, servicing feature films and TV around the globe. Industrial Pixel VFX has offices in Canada, Australia, the EU and the US.

If you are looking to expand your 3D Data Capture utilizing photogrammetry, Lidar, aerial data capture, we are looking for dynamic, self-motivated and energetic persons to join our high energy, hardworking Scanning and 3D Data Capture and Modeling team.

The 3D Capture Technician's primary role is on-set, capturing data. If you enjoy learning new techniques, crave working in a fast-paced environment and have the following skills, we’d like to hear from you.

**Applicants will be given priority who have experience**:

- Working on-set for film and/or productions
- 3D digital modeler
- Experience with PHOTOGRAMMETRY software, 3D scanners, LiDAR and/or scanned data
- Experience with DSLR's and studio photography
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and have drivers license and passport

**Responsibilities**:

- Represent the team in a professional and courteous manner on-set and in-studio.
- Setup up/breakdown of required scanning equipment, following proper procedures.
- Organizes on-set scanning based on production requirements.
- Efficiently and effectively scans/photographs ordered characters/props/sets in a professional manner.
- Captures, labels and stores data according to Industrial Pixel standards.
- Communicates effectively with clients, production staff and team members.
- Efficiently processes data following IPVFX process and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have willingness to travel, be self-driven and have sense of adventure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Passion for providing and producing quality service and data.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Proficiency in 3-D modeling is required.
- Proficiency in learning new software an asset.
- Proficiency in photography is required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate film production schedules.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
