**Overview**

As a Pet Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and service to pets and their owners. This position requires a genuine love for animals, strong customer service skills, knowledge and previous experience with dogs, and the ability to handle various tasks related to pet care. You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of pets while fostering positive relationships with their owners.

Few positions are available and cross training will be given to all to ensure everyone is given the same opportunities in facility.

**Duties**
- Provide daily care for pets, including, but not limited to, feeding, and stimulating and safe play.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all animals in your care.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to management.
- Assist customers with inquiries about pet care services and products.
- Handle heavy lifting associated with moving pet supplies and equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation of pet care activities and services rendered.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Previous experience in animal handling or pet care.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their well-being.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.50-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
