**Summary**:
Days Inn & Suites Cochrane is looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our property remains safe, well-maintained, and up to brand standards for our guests. This facility is a 61 room hotel located in Cochrane, Alberta with an indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub.

**Job Parameters**:
Hours : 25-40 hours/week, 4-8 hours/day,
Days : Monday - Friday. Occasional weekends as required.
Pay : $20/hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and perform daily maintenance operations throughout the hotel.
- Conduct routine inspections of hotel equipment, guest rooms, and public areas.
- Coordinate and follow up on repair requests from housekeeping and front desk department
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensure safety standards and regulatory requirements are met.
- Assist with inventory control for tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Respond to emergencies promptly and professionally

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Previous maintenance experience required; hotel experience is an asset.
- Strong mechanical understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting and general repairs.
- Pool Operation Certification is an advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
